DescriptionEstuary News is published quarterly by the Partnership for the Delaware Estuary, a private, nonprofit organization established in 1996. The Partnership leads collaborative and creative efforts to protect and enhance the Delaware Estuary and its tributaries for current and future generations. It is the home of the Delaware Estuary Program (DELEP), one of 28 national estuary programs. This Fall 2007 newsletter focuses on: the first paperless issue; news from around the region; a definition of ecological footprint; volunteer programs; locally grown food; car sharing; smart restoration begins with native plants; environmentally friendly fertilizing; teachers resources; schoolyard pollution solutions; fighting climate change begins in-house; and upcoming events.
